When I first moved to Buenos Aires, I studied for one year at Edena. I LOVE the staff there. Since I was working, I could not spend 4 hours a day in school, so I was looking for a shorter program.

Besides teaching us grammar and verbs, we also learned about the history of Buenos Aires, pop culture, current events, and other traditions. Edena is a great school and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a well-rounded education about the language and people of Buenos Aires. Give my love to everyone! + Lesen Sie mehrArriving at the school I already had an upper intermediate level of Spanish but I was really impressed by the teachers' attention to detail. They really want to make sure you learn Spanish properly and consequently they worked hard to fix many of the bad habits I had picked up in the past. I had experienced other teachers (at schools outside Argentina) who sometimes appeared to be just going through the motions but the teachers I worked with at Edena were extremely professional and my Spanish improved in leaps and bounds.
The other thing I noticed was the family feeling of the school. Classes were small and I felt that I was coming to school to chat to friends rather than to learn in a sterile classroom. Judit and all the teachers will go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible and have great tips about Buenos Aires to enrich your stay there. Not only did I improve my Spanish but I learned more than I could have ever imagined about Argentina's people, society, customs, politics and landscapes.
